It was unveiled in North America on the 30/9/04. This nice camera measures 92 x 62 x 32 mm and weights 200 g. The PhotoPC L-500V has for maximum resolution 2560 x 1920. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Epson PhotoPC L-500V is set at 4:3, making a camera of 4.9 mega pixels. The sensor on the PhotoPC L-500V is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Epson included a digital zoom on the PhotoPC L-500V and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm.
