Epson PhotoPC L-500V digital cameraEpson launches its new camera, the Epson PhotoPC L-500V which is an exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled in North America on the 30/9/04. This nice camera measures 92 x 62 x 32 mm and weights 200 g. The PhotoPC L-500V has for maximum resolution 2560 x 1920. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Epson PhotoPC L-500V is set at 4:3, making a camera of 4.9 mega pixels. The sensor on the PhotoPC L-500V is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter.
Epson included a digital zoom on the PhotoPC L-500V and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the PhotoPC L-500V was set at 1 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Epson PhotoPC L-500V includes an internal memory of 16 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD card. The LCD implemented in the PhotoPC L-500V measures 2.5 ".
